(4) The General Rate necessary to raise the required sum in the Irwell, Southbridge and Rakaia Riding is 1.1 of a penny. Springston and Greenpark 1 penny, Leeston County Town 1.9 pence, and Southbridge County Town 2 pence. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AND LEVY RATES AND CHARGES Pursuant to “The Rating Act, 1925,” "The Local Authorities' Loans Act, 1956,” “The Countlew’ Act 1956,” and subsequent amendments, Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Ellesmere County Coune'l at a meeting to be held on Monday, July 18, 1966, to make and levy the following rates and charge®:— 1. A General Rate of one and one-tenth pence in the pound on the Capital Value of all rateable property appearing on the Valuation Rolls of the Ridings of Irwell, Southbridge and Rakaia. 2. A General Rate of one penny in the pound on the Capital Value of all rateable property appearing on the valuation Rolls of the Ridings of Springston and Greenpark. 3. A County Town General Rate of one and nine-tenths pence in the pound on the Capital Value of all rateable property appearing on the Valuation Roll of the County Town of Leeston. 4. A County Town General Rate of two pence in the pound on the Capital Value of all rateable property appearing on the Valuation Roll of the County Town of Southbridge. 5. Drainage Rates on the Capital Value of all rateable property contained in the area classified for the Greenpark Subdivision as follows: Class A 9.56 pence in the pound. Olas* B 9.45 pence in the pound, Class C 0.28 pence in the pound. Class D 9.19 pence in the pound. Class E 0.15 pence in the pound, and Class F 0.056 pence in the pound. 6. Drainage Rates on the Capital Value of all rateable property contained in the area classified for the L2 Subdivision as follows: Class A 0.6 pence in the pound, Class B 0.4 pence in the pound. Class C 0.24 pence in the pound. Class D 0.12 pence in the pound, Class E 0.08 pence tn the pound and Class F 0.06 pence in the pound. 7. Drainage Rates on the Capital Value of all rateable property contained in the area classified for the Ellesmere No. 3 Subdivision as follows: Class A 0.66 pence in the pound, Class B 0.44 pence in the pound.
