Offer By Lands Department The Lands and Survey Department is offering for sale by ballot 22.3 perches erf land at the corner of Starunore and North Avon roads. A condition of sale is that a double unit flat or apartment house be built on the land, which is zoned Residential B. The purchase price is £1750 including improvements worth £lOO. Applications will dose on Monday, July 25, and if necessary a ballot will be held the following Thursday. The Department is also offering for sale three acres of land at Doyleston on the corner of Drain road and Railway terrace. The total purchase price is I £295, and if there are two or more equally suitable applicants a ballot will be conducted. Applications close on' July 18. Adjoining the three acre property is a house and section of 1 rood 28.8 perches for sale by tender. The house was built about 1900 and consists of a small kitchen, bathroom, living room, three bedrooms, and sitting room.
Tenders will close on July 25.
