Fast 110yds At Moana Pool

(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. I. Johnstone, the brilliant 16-year-old Otago swimmer, recorded the fastest time for 110 yards breaststroke that has been accomplished in New Zealand this season when he took 72.8 sec at Dunedin’s Moana Pool on Saturday night

The swim was accomplished in an unofficial trial, but Johnstone had three accredited timekeepers and the Otago Swimming Centre’s starter, Mr I. Scott, sent him away.
