INDUSTRIAL FIRST AID

The St. John Ambulance Association had advised that it had seven industry training classes with 60 representatives from 50 firms, said the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association’s representative with the association (Mr J. D. Bull) at the association’s monthly council meeting. Another 17 classes with 198 persons were being planned.

Mr Bull said the association had also advised that most firms wanted their staff to take refresher courses each year. Two firms had asked that their staff take the higher and advanced courses.
