ADVICE ON TREES
School Asks Official
The Avonside Girls’ High School board of governors will approach the Director of Reserves (Mr H. G. Gilpin) for advice on the large trees in the school grounds. Some are overgrown. The chairman (Dr. G. Jobberns) will arrange for an inspection. The board decided to defer the subject of School Certificate until the next meeting. The principal (Miss M. P. Stevenson) will prepare her views. Miss Stevenson praised the value of aerial geography trips. Last month sixth form geography pupils visited the Hennitage.
