(N.Z. Press Association)

WELLINGTON, June 3,

New Zealand’s artillery battery in South Vietnam has left Bien Hoa air base to establish a permanent camp at Ba Ria, in Phuoc Tuy province, 40 miles south-east of Saigon, said the Minister of Defence (Mr Eyre) today.

By the time the battery had moved to Ba Ria it would have been increased to a sixgun battery, with the addition of 27 men and two 105 mm howitzers, said Mr Eyre.
