New Base For N.Z. Battery

WELLINGTON, June 3,
New Zealand’s artillery battery in South Vietnam has left Bien Hoa air base to establish a permanent camp at Ba Ria, in Phuoc Tuy province, 40 miles south-east of Saigon, said the Minister of Defence (Mr Eyre) today.
By the time the battery had moved to Ba Ria it would have been increased to a sixgun battery, with the addition of 27 men and two 105 mm howitzers, said Mr Eyre.
Travel Award.— Napier has won the Travel and Holiday Association's travel enterprise award for 1966.—(P.A.)
