Indonesians are not trying to topple President Sukarno, General Abdul Haris Nasution, deputy chief of the “crush Malaysia” command has repeated in Djakarta. In a written message to the Moslem mass organisation Muhammadijah, General Nasution, quoted by the official Antara news agency, said the people merely wanted a return to constitutional government with the President in his proper place. It was now up to the People’s Consultative Congress to correct such unconstitutional things as the lifelong presidency conferred on Dr. Sukarno.
