Juniors Chosen
The Canterbury Table Tennis Association’s junior A and B teams, to contest the opening matches in the southern section of the Schwepps New Zealand junior teams’ tournament in Christchurch at the week-end, nave been announced by the selectors (Messrs A. B. McCallum, T. R. D. Flint and R. G. Hart). Matches will be played against teams from Marlborough and the West Coast. A Teams.—Boys: K. Ward (Avonside), J. Weir (Avonside), J. Flint (Selwyn). Girls: Miss M. Green (North Canterbury), Miss M. Row (Linwood), Miss C. Taylor (Linwood). B Teams.—Boys: C. Samson (Selwyn), R. Hughes (Avonside), P. Steere (Avonside), Girls: Miss M. Bell (Mid-Can-terbury), Miss C. Fraemohs (St. Joseph’s), Miss I. Aitken (St. John’s).
