FELTEX N.Z. LOAN STOCK

Issue More Than Filled (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 1. The £500,000 issue of Felt and Textiles of New Zealand unsecured registered loan stock had been over-sub-scribed by 50 per cent, the chairman of directors (Mr I. D. Reid) said. “With over-subscriptions reaching the limit and bringing the total issue to £750,000 the response of investors, both institutional and private during the period of tight finance, has been immensely gratifying,” he said. “We are pleased to note that nearly 40 per cent of the amount subscribed came from existing debenture and share holders. The board regard the support shown as an indication of public confidence in the company’s products and operations,” he added.
