Average United States wool prices in 1966 are expected to be moderately higher than those of 1965. according to the United States Agriculture Department. In a review of the wool situation, the department said the factors influencing higher wool prices include slightly smaller supplies because of a decline in sheep numbers, higher mill activity resulting in part from military buying, and increasing prices of wool on the world market.
