Barrett, former headmaster of the Westbum School, left Christchurch this week to take up his appointment as superintendent of the Arts and Crafts Branch of the Education Department in Wellington. Finland Telegrams. The telegraph service in Finland is normal again, and telegrams are no longer subject to delay or acceptance only at sender’s risk, the Christchurch Chief Postmaster (Mr M. E. Wilson) advised yesterday.
