MISSED VOYAGE.—Mr R. Oakton, the regular second officer of the wrecked collier Kaitawa, being landed by a crane from a tug at Westport last Saturday. Mr Oakton, who is now a patient in Buller Hospital, Westport, collapsed in the ship on the day of sailing. The Kaitawa was then near Karamea, but put back to Westport, and a tug took him ashore.
