Stand On Racialism

(N.Z. Press Association)

AUCKLAND. May 22

The South African NonRacial Olympic Committee has written to the president of the Federation of Labour (Mr T. E. Skinner) congratulating the federation for its “courageous and just” stand against racialism.

The committee says in its letter that it is constantly opposing racialism in sports but so far with little success.

It has, however, managed to persuade the International Table Tennis Federation to expel the racially constituted body in South Africa and get the non-racial organisation recognised.
