The publisher of one of Lebanon’s most influential newspapers was slain in his office tonight by an assailant carrying a silencer-equipped pistol, newspaper employees said, the Associated Press reported. The dead man was Kamel Mrowa. aged 52, a publishereditor, who founded the newspaper “Al Hayat” and its Eng-lish-launguage subsidiary, the “Daily Star.”
