Bobbinet Favoured In Auckland Event

"The Press” Special Service AUCKLAND. Bobbinet is expected to prove herself the best mare in New Zealand apart from Robin Dundee when she contests the May Handicap on the opening night of the Auckland Trotting Gub’s meeting tomorrow.

Her main rival, Disband, is among the nine acceptors. On recent form, Bobbinet should finish ahead.

All the May Handicap candidates have form this season. The Our Luck-Our Eileen bracket looks certain tn be a warm favourite in the second leg, the Huia Handicap.
