NEW CHURCH BUILDINGS
Durham Streel
Work Begins
Work began this week on the new church centre buildings for the Durham Street Methodist Church. This will equip the church for “a ministry to the inner city,” said the minister (the Rev. W. S. Dawson).
Included in the buildings will be a lounge, office space, and a youth floor with a chapel and coffee bar. The Durham Street Church works in close partnership with the Methodist Central Mission, and the new facilities will enable even closer cooperation, said Mr Dawson.
