Missing After Car Accident (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 12. A 15-year-old girl missing after a car accident on the Paekakariki coastal highway early yesterday morning may be injured but afraid to get medical help. Her father, Mr H. G. Lyttle, of Vogel town, said today he was worried about his daughter's safety. The girl, Gwen Joyce Lyttle, is believed to have been with two youths in the car when it went over a bank above the sea two miles north of ’ Pukerua Bay. She had been missing since last seen at the Winter show trade fair on Monday night. A youth was found later by the roadside in a dazed condition and treated at hospital. He was charged today in the Magistrate's Court with car conversion. He pleaded guilty and was remanded in custody for a probation report

Police searched the Pukerua Bay-Paekakariki area yesterday with the help of police dogs, but could not find the other occupants of the car.
