Roman Catholic Co-operation (N.Z.P.A.-Keuttr— Copyright) LONDON, May B. The Roman Catholic Church in Britain has decided to join in the final stages of a 20year study scheme leading to publication of the New English Bible in 1970. The new translation of the New Testament was published in 1961 and now the Oxford and Cambridge University Presses have announced completion of translation of the Old Testament and the Apocrypha. Two observers will represent the British Roman Catholic hierarchy as the new Old Testament and Apocrypha translations are examined by literary advisers.
