Venturer Scout Experiment

Canterbury boy scouts are taking part in an experimental course for the venturer scout bushman's thong, modelled on a Canadian camp project, at Blue Skies, Kaiapoi. The programme will include the venturer, tracker, master canoeist and senior pioneering badges, for which practical instruction and demonstrations will be given. On Tuesday there will be a hike lasting until Wednesday afternoon when certificates and badges will be presented.
