21 Replies To Solomons Man

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 8.

A Solomon Islands trader has received 21 inquiries from Auckland persons willing to exchange houses with him for four months to a year, Mr T. A. C. Hepworth writes to an Auckland newspaper.

He received six Inquiries direct from Auckland and 15 through a United States house-swappdng agency which has been forwarding replies to Mr Hepworth from an airline office. Mr Hepworth, a trader on Pigeon Island in the Reef Islands of the Santa Cruz group of the Solomons, wants to swap his home on the island together with a 29ft yawl for a house within an hour’s drive of Green Lane Hospital and a car while his daughter has a heart operation early next year.
