Red Cross Efforts Abroad
Junior Red Cross members are raising money to buy vitamin tablets for the Indian Red Cross effort to feed 15m to 20m hungry children. A request from the League of Red Cross Societies in Geneva for urgent specified assistance for about 1000 re-cently-released political detainees in Ghana, almost all of whom have poor health, was answered by the Junior Red Cross, which sent multivitamin tablets worth £5O to the Ghana Red Cross Society.
