Houses And Farm Sold
An older-type house on a section of 45.7 perches at 64 Murray place, St. Albans, was sold for £4200 at public auction on Thursday. The property was offered by Ford and Hadfield, Ltd., acting in conjunction with Mr N. K. Olsen. The auctioneer was Mr Denys Chapman. The house is at present let as apartments, which return £8 5s a week. A small house on a section of one rood .7 perches at 17 Ida street. New Brighton, was sold for £llOO. The auctioneer was Mr J. Dyer. The house has two bedrooms, a livingroom, a kitchenette, and a laundry-bath room.
It was a mortgagee’s sale.
Mr W. B. Kelloch’s farm of 134 acres at White road, Puaha Valley, Little River, has been sold by private treaty by the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-operative Association of Canterbury, Ltd. The property was passed In at £B5OO when offered at auction on Monday.
