Ex-Kiwis To Play Games

The Canterbury Rugby League Ex-Kiwis Association will play a Canterbury XIII [on May 22. This will be the first of four or five games ! that the association hopes to [organize this season. The association will give donations from these matches to several worthwhile causes, including the St. John Ambulance Brigade and the Show Grounds Development Fund while other receipts will go towards the fostering of schoolboy football. Towards the end of the season it is hoped that a match will be arranged against a West Coast Ex-Kiwis team. Players on whom the selectors will be able to call include N. K. Roberts, K. C. Pearce, J. E. Bond, J. A. Bond. G. H. Turner, B. W. Langton, P. M. V. White, J. L. White, R. S. J. Irvine, .1. M. Bray, J. H. Fisher, I. T. Drayton, A. N. Amer, P. J. Creedy, J. F. Jones, C. C. Pascell, H. D. Anderson, D. L. Blanchard, A. J. Atkinson, J. J. Curtain, F. G. Mulcare, and A. A, Smith.
