Rhodes On Film

(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON.

Three film cameras are to record the action of the Derbyshire fast bowler, H. Rhodes, in the current match against Northamptonshire. It will be filmed from behind the bowler's arm, from behind the wicket and from mid-wicket.

The new throwing adjudicating committee has unanimously declared that Rhodes’s basic action is fair, but has asked for more film because some members have doubts about occasional deliveries. The cameras will film deliveries simultaeously to give a complete view of Rhodes’s bowling action.
