Christian Youth Exchange
A New Zealander would visit the United States and an Indonesian would come to this country under the international Christian youth exchange this year, said the secretary of the National Council of Churches’ youth committee (the Rev. R. M. O’Grady). It would be the first New Zealand participation in the scheme, which exchanged people aged between 16 and 18.
Under the scheme, ' Mr J. Willis, aged 18, of Southland, would spend a year at Black Rock, Pennsylvania, and Miss M. L. Liauw, of Djakarta, will spend a year in Timaru.
