Mine And Shells Under Runway
(N. Z. P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) PARIS, May 4. Workmen repairing the main runway of Orly Airport today discovered a mine and six 105-millimetre shells just below its surface. The runway was used by about 300 aircraft a day until it was closed recently for resurfacing. Work stopped immediately and explosive experts were called.
