Not Replacing Miss Cox

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The New Zealand Badminton Federation will not replace Miss S. Cox in its list of nominations for the Empire Games in Jamaica. Miss Cox, six times winner of the New Zealand singles championship, has written from England, where she has been living for the last 18 months, that for “personal reasons” she will not be available. She was nominated by the federation with R. H. Purser (Auckland), D. B. Higgins (Wellington), Mrs G. Middelberg (Canterbury, at present living in Britain) and Miss G. ■ Simpson (Auckland).

Wlllment's Success. — The AU Black full-back, 11. Williment. scored two tries and converted five others for Blackheath against an Invitation XV In Nairobi. Blackheath won 39-11.
