Obituary Mr A. R. Cruickshank

Mr Alan Robin Cruickshank, who was well known as a policeman in the Christchurch area for many years, died on Wednesday. He was 65. Before his retirement in 1960 Mr Cruickshank served in the central, Woolston and Rangiora police stations. He was particularly active in police social work, and frequently acted as Santa Claus at police functions at Christmas. Mr Cruickshank is survived by his wife and a son.
