STOLEN TV SETS

Four In Eight Days A portable, Ilin TV set, worth about £9O, was among £l2l worth of property stolen from a St an more road house on Thursday evening. It was the fourth portable TV set stolen from houses in Christchurch in the last eight days. Owners of sets are advised by the police to keep their houses locked when they are out and to lock portable TV sets away.

The sum of £9 10s was stolen from a house in Shakespeare road when the house was burgled in daylight yesterday. The theft of an outboard motor, valued at £3O, from the Little Rakaia Huts has been reported to the police.
