Seventh Ship With Ants
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 28. Carpenter ants were found in the freighter Baron Mint when she berthed at Auckland today. She is the seventh ship to arrive at Auckland with carpenter ants this year. The district port agriculture officer (Mr T. N. Flint) said today the infestation was moderate. The ship, which has come from the United States, has been placed in quarantine.
