Obituary MR V. G. BOULTON

(N.I. Pr«« AatoelaHon) CAMBRIDGE, April 26 Mr Vincent Godfrey Boul ton, managing-editor of the “Waikato Independent" Cambridge, since 1942, died suddenly on Friday evening, aged 76. Mr Boulton was bom in New Plymouth. He moved to Cambridge in 1914 and joined the staff of the “Waikato Independent” and with the exception of a brief period had been associated with the newspaper ever since. He helped found the Country Newspapers’ Association and was on that organisation s executive for many years. In 1961 he became the association’s first life honorary member. He is survived by his wife, three daughters and a son.
