TACTILE IN U.S.

(N.Z.P.A. -Reuter—Copvrioht) NEW YORK. Twenty-three pacers and trotters, the largest group of harness racehorses ever airlifted from Australia, have arrived in New York after a five-day air trip from Sydney. The shipment was headed by Tactile, the seven-year-old New Zealand pacer which won a heat in the Inter-Dominion championships earlier thia year. Tactile, whose record includes victories over the New Zealandbred Orbiter, another recent Import, is under lease for three years to the trainer, J. Chapman, and owner, H. Marrow. At the end of that period, he will be returned to New Zealand for stud duty. Others in the shipment included Gramel, Sugar 'n Spice, Night Prince, Morant, Lookout, Plebe Son, Jewel's Star, Cold Victory, and Procella.
