FAILURE TO CLEAR LAND
Fines amounting to £7 10s were imposed on David John Bray, by Mr E. S. J. Crutchley, S.M.. in the Magistrate’s Court, Lyttelton, on two separate charges of failing to clear his land of noxious weeds. John Lewis Anderson was convicted on a charge of faiillng to clear Iris land of noxious weeds. TRAFFIC OFFENCES For failing to produce a driver’s licence on demand, Denis William Rakena was fined £5. lan Ernest Arthur was fined £l5 for failing to give way and his licence was suspended for three months. Peter Bruce Erenstrom was 'fined £2 Ids for permitting a person other than the hirer to drive a vehicle. He was fined a further £2 Ids for permitting an unlicensed person to drive a vehicle. Garth WMlliiam Surgeson was fined £4 tor having no driver's licence. Raymond Francis Toohey was fined £4 for alllowing an unlicensed person to ride a motorcycle. Charged with careless use of a vehicle, Brian Dungey was fined £6, and for having no warrant of fitness, £l.
