Animal Fodder Additives (N.Z. P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) ALEXANDRIA. A “petrochemical city” is being built in Alexandria for the production of protein and vitamin additives for animal fodder. The city, which will be opened in 1968, will handle about 150,000 tons of benzine a year and will produce insecticides, chemical drugs, paints, chemical cleaners, plastics, rubber and nylon. Meanwhile, Alexandria University has decided to establish petro-chemical departments at the Faculties of Engineering and Science.
