Cardigan Bay’s Easy Victory At Yonkers

(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) NEW YORK. New Zealand-bred Cardigan Bay romped to an easy victory on Thursday night in the 100,000-dollar International Pace at Yonkers Raceway.

The brilliant 10-year-old gelding took the lead at the six-furlong mark of the 12furlong race and just breezed the rest of the journey to win by about five lengths in 3min 4 2-ssec.
