CHANCE LOST

R. W. CAULTON’S decision to retire from Rugby robs the former All Black left wing of the chance to become the third New Zealander to score 100 tries in firstclass games. At the end of the 1964 season his .tally was 95, but last year he was dogged by injury and scored only twice. The two players to have scored a century of tries, R. A. Jarden (Wellington) and R. M. Smith (Canterbury), were both left wings.
