Committee Set Up
The first step towards the establishment of a clean air society in Christchurch was taken at a meeting of 20 engineers and scientists on Wednesday evening. One of the conveners, Mr P. Neary, said later that an interim committee had been set up to arrange plans for obtaining public support. A list of objectives was formulated at the meeting, which would be followed within a month by a public meeting.
