Marksmen Aim For Jamaica
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The team to represent the North Island in the final Empire Games trials to be staged by the New Zealand smallbore rifle assocition is: B. E. Jacey (Horowhenua), R. Knaggs (Waikato), and M. Watt (Hutt Valley). The inter-island shoot will take place at Ashburton on April 2. It will consist of 60 shots at 50 metres on the official international shooting union target. After the competition a team of two will be nominated for the Empire Games in Jamaica.
