Fall During February (N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) CANBERRA, March 15. The number of registered job seekers in Australia fell during February by 12,343 to 65,965. This compared with a fall of 12,376 to 50,747 in February, 1965. The number of men and youths registered was 37,123 (24,941 In February, 1965), and that of women and girls 28,842 (25,806). This amounted to 1.4 per cent of the estimated work force (1.1 per cent in February, 1965), and it compared with a February average of 1.8 per cent over the eight years for which figures had been published. After allowing for seasonal factors, the underlying state of the labour market was practically unchanged at the end cf February, compared with a month previously.
