‘THE RIGHT DECISION’

(N.Z. Press Association >

WELLINGTON, Feb. 25.

The chairman of the Citizens’ AU Black Tour Association (Mr R. O’Regan) said he thought the New Zealand Rugby Union had made the right decision in not sending a team to South Africa. “It does them credit. T am glad to see they were sensitive to public opinion,” he said. “Having discussion with the Government is a new departure in Rugby union policy, in our view, this matter should, as far as possible, be resolved at non-Government level.”
