PARKING PROBLEMS

Doctors Called From Hospital (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, February 10. Doctors and surgeons at one of Britain's busiest hospitals are having to interrupt operations to move their cars, the “Daily Sketch” reported. The hospital—St. George's, at Hyde Park Corner—has no car park, and staff have to try to park at the few busy meters nearby or leave care in non-parking streets and risk fines. Dr. Donald Howart, a consultant anaesthetist at the hospital, said: “A number of doctors have been called from their duties—even In the operating theatre—and asked to move their cars. “The police sent for me when I was busy with an operation which I couldn't leave. My car was towed away.” DELIGHTFUL COOKING A new flavour treat in potato chips and deep-fried fish. Replace the usual tat with pure Corn Oil. All grocers have CORNOLA in gallons, i-galls , 20 ozs. and 10 ozs. quantities. —PBA.
