Mr H. A. Collinson will lead a trade mission from the British plastics industry to New Zealand, arriving in ■Wellington on March 21. He is the chairman of the British Plastics Federation, and will be accompanied by eight other members. The mission will visit Auckland on March 23-24 and Christchurch on March 25. —(P.A.). Inspector L. D. Bridge, of Wellington, the police search and rescue specialist has been promoted to chief inspector.

Sister F. G. Childs, of the Church Army, will at the end of the month take up an appointment with the Rev. J. W. Branthwaite in the parish of Kensington-Otipua, Timaru. For the last 11 years she has been assisting the Rev. D. D. Thorpe in the parish of St. John’s, Latimer square.
