In The Front Row
Women are taking more interest in investments and company affairs these days—even to attending annual general meetings. Four women sat together in the front row at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Frozen Meat Company. Among the 17 shareholders at the meeting, they got a special welcome jtrom the chairman (Mr L. D. Cotterill). “We have more ladies here today than have ever deigned to attend a meeting before.” he said.
