They resumed work after a union meeting this morning. About 120 men are still idle, but about 105 of them are expected to resume work tomorrow. They were put on a two-day penalty yesterdav when they were called to work the freighter, but refused to accept engagement. A gang of 15 men, which was working the ship’s number three hatch when the dispute arose, has not yet resumed work. The Port Conciliation Committee is understood to be discussing the points at issue.
