Drink And Driving
Although not always blamed, drinking is often a contributory cause of an accident because over-confi-dence cannot compensate for the retarded reaction time in emergency.
A lecturer in psychology at a British university has estimated that if no driver drove after drinking, accident rates might drop by up to 20 per cent.
