TV RELIGIOUS SERVICES
Programmes For Non-Christians
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, Jan. 31. Britain’s 250,000 Indian and Pakastani immigrants will be given their own religious services on television. It will be the first time that regular religious programmes have been screened for nonChristians.
An independent network will devote a 20-minute programme on Sunday mornings to the immigrants’ three main religious groups—Moslems, Sikhs, and Hindus. The 8.8. C. already shows a programme for Indian and Pakastani viewers on aspects of life in Britain.
