Antarctic

The Antarctic Division of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research now has a well-established library of books, papers, photographs, and colour slides on all aspects of Antarctica and New Zealand activities in the Ross Dependency. Much of this material is suitable for pupils to use for school projects. As well as material available on loan, the library has photographs and small publications available to them for permanent use. The library can supply information and books to supplement school library books through library interloan or by personal requests from schools. The library also bolds a collection of large black and white and colour photographs mounted for display purposes. These are available on request and may be used for public display.
