Geoffrey Watson worn £295.800, and Pollet £260,726. Four other trainers won over £135,000 each, and Clement —tenth on the list won £12,000 more than did P. J. Prendergast, who topped the English list with £75,323.

Noel Munless, thanks to Aunt Edith’s victory in the Prix Vermei'He. won £34,911 in France—a total that gained him only fortieth position!

As for the French owners. Baron Guy de Rothschild and M. F. Dupre won over £230,000 while four other owners worn over £lOO,OOO each.
