Order For Yacht
(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, Jan. 31. Michael Parsons, of New York, a film star and film producer, has placed an order for a New Zealand-built Olympic Finn-class yacht. This will be built by Mr J. R. Wilkinson, of Whangarei. Confirmatioin of the order, which was given verbally at the Far Eastern Finn championships at Manila, was made in a letter. Mr Parsons is having an American sail made by North Sails, an American sail-mak-ing firm and sent direct to New Zealand for fitting. The boat will be completely rigged out here and tuned ready for racing.
