Rifleman’s Success

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) HOBART, Jan. 16. A young New Zealand marksman outshot 100 riflemen from all parts of Tasmania at Fingal in Tasmania's north-east yesterday. He is John Anderson of Wairau Valley club who is on a working holiday in the state. Anderson and another New Zealander, Neil Richardson, of Wellington, tied with 101 over 300, 500 and 600 yards. But Anderson brilliantly won the shoot-off with a possible 25.

Anderson recorded 35-33-33 for a total of 101 out of a possible 105.
